From a dead stop, 60mph flashes by in 2.3 seconds. Keep the throttle pegged and you’ll smash the 100mph barrier in 4.92 seconds. Simply put, XO-1 is the fastest and most outrageous Ready-to-Race® RC car ever created. New aero improvements make XO-1 even easier to drive at the limit and more fun than ever before. If you’re looking for the most extreme RC thrill ride ever to hit the pavement, look no further than Traxxas, The Fastest Name in Radio Control®.
From top to bottom, XO-1 is a masterwork of intelligent aero design. The sculpted supercar body slices through the wind for record-breaking speed. New high-downforce canards on the front splitter and a revised rear wing provide superior high-speed stability. A high-tech NACA duct under the chassis routes cool air around the motor with a rear body vent for hot air to escape.
The Traxxas XO-1 is a brutally fast hypercar intended for only the most experienced drivers. New aerodynamic improvements make XO-1’s performance more accessible than ever before with predictable straight-line performance and confidence-inspiring handling. Belted slick tires and a revised rear wing keep the XO-1 glued to the pavement whether you’re testing its top speed potential or carving up a tight race course.
XO-1’s legendary speed wouldn’t be possible without explosive power and XO-1 brings big-block 6s brushless horsepower to the table. Weighing almost two pounds, the massive Traxxas Big Block motor pumps out supercar speed and gut-wrenching torque for brutal acceleration. The finely-tuned Mamba Monster Extreme ESC delivers 25+ volts of ferocious power with scalpel-like precision.
XO-1’s aerodynamic components work in unison with the sculpted body for enhanced high-speed stability and show-stopping looks. The ProGraphix® painted body is molded in durable 1 mm polycarbonate for extra rigidity.
A new high-downforce rear wing works in tandem with the revised front splitter and canards to keep XO-1 stable at speed. A high-speed wing also comes in the kit to minimize drag for all-out speed runs. Both wings mount solidly to the body to transfer downforce down into the chassis for superior grip.
XO-1 includes a new canard-equipped high-downforce splitter to keep the chassis locked to the pavement during 100+ mph speed runs. Special channels allow the body to key into the splitter for improved aerodynamics and structural rigidity. The flexible splitter resists impact damage and swaps out in just minutes.
New expanded foam bumpers conform perfectly to the body for better fitment. These improvements keep the body aligned and maintain its shape under the extreme aerodynamic forces of 100+ mph speed runs.
XO-1’s artfully machined aluminum C-hubs preserve the carefully engineered steering and suspension geometry for high-speed maneuvers. The brilliant-blue anodized finish adds high-tech style and superior strength.
Heavy-duty steel turnbuckles allow you to fine-tune XO-1’s camber and toe settings for high-speed stability and increased cornering grip. The captured rod ends provide unmatched durability and won’t pop off.
Proven in our toughest off-road trucks, new HD arms resist breakage from impacts. Molded from a proprietary composite that provides better impact resistance and improved durability, even in colder temperatures.
XO-1’s high-volume aluminum GTR shocks are hard-anodized for a strong and brilliant finish. Threaded bodies and oversized spring collars make it easy to set preload without the need for separate spacers.
XO-1’s dual-bellcrank design pivots smoothly for precise steering control at speed. A rigid metal bellcrank arm with integrated cam-type servo saver protects the steering servo from crash impacts without sacrificing its precision.
Precision-machined for accuracy and bulletproof strength, Traxxas Aluminum Steering Blocks further refine XO-1‘s razor-sharp steering. Solid 6061 aluminum construction guarantees race-ready strength and stiffness.
A 100+ mph supercar needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance. The waterproof steering servo (2075) uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. The Traxxas digital high-torque servo provides precise steering authority and speed for high-speed handling.
In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be activated.
The waterproof receiver box keeps the receiver safe and dry while still allowing easy access for maintenance. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a patented water-tight seal.
Constructed of lightweight 6061 aluminum, XO-1’s lower chassis adds superior strength and doubles as a heat sink for the power system. The aluminum upper chassis provides significant torsional strength and keeps the bulkheads aligned with the driveshaft even at extreme RPM.
XO-1 accommodates a wide variety of battery configurations and sizes with its unique, scalable battery compartments and quick-release hold-downs. Removing and installing batteries is easy and the secure latch holds them firmly in place under high G-force loads.
Aluminum stub axle carriers add both strength and beauty while maintaining the high-speed suspension geometry built into XO-1.
XO-1’s 8 mm thick aluminum motor mount resists flex and holds the motor tight under the highest loads. Gear mesh is critical with such a high-powered motor so Traxxas engineers incorporated a unique adjustment screw into the mount to dial in the gear mesh with micro-precision.
Machined aluminum shock towers provide unparalleled stiffness and strength. The rigid shock towers allow XO-1’s GTR shocks to work more efficiently absorbing road imperfections and cornering loads.
XO-1’s slick tires are the first to be rated for 100+ mph. Zero-stretch belting reinforces the soft-compound rubber with foam inserts to support the tread. The tires come pre-glued to extra-wide black chrome Split-Spoke wheels for maximum traction.
Sealed steel-gear differentials are built to handle big block brushless power with extra reinforcing bars built into the carrier. Silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow the differentials to be tuned for different road conditions by varying the viscosity of the oil inside them.
Splined nickel-plated shafts slide smoothly as the suspension compresses to withstand much greater torque loads than conventional driveshafts. The female half-shafts are machined from hardened steel with a durable black-oxide finish. Flexible rubber boots protect the CV joints and splines from dirt and debris.
Traxxas 17mm aluminum hubs and wheel nuts provide precise alignment and unsurpassed torque handling. The splined design interlocks with the wheels for a solid fit that holds tight. The included molded wheel wrench provides easy wheel removal and installation.
XO-1’s extruded center driveshaft is both lightweight and incredibly strong. Internal splines fit securely onto the input shafts of the front and rear drive assemblies for slip-proof grip.
XO-1’s Cush Drive absorbs drivetrain shocks with an elastomer damper housed between the spur gear and the drive hub. Under extreme loads the elastomer flexes to dissipate shock without interrupting power flow. The result is instant acceleration with no wasted power.
XO-1’s gear teeth are the largest in the Traxxas line: Module 1. In addition to having larger, more durable teeth, XO-1’s gears are a full 8 mm wide to spread drive loads over a greater area to extend wear and increase efficiency.
Rubber-sealed bearings offer the ultimate in super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments. They are used in all exposed locations on the truck and they’re virtually maintenance free.
