The Traxxas Sledge is built to take all the abuse that hard-hitting 1/8 scale, 6s-powered off-roading can dish out. That includes sky-high jumps and big landings, which Sledge shrugs off with ease. Over time, big landings and chassis scrape can take a toll on the underside finish and wear down fastener heads, making maintenance less easy than it’s engineered to be.

Traxxas’ chassis skid plates for Sledge prevent wear and extend chassis life, and with seven colors to choose from, you can personalize your Sledge with a matching or contrasting look.

The Sledge chassis skid plate is available in Black, Dark Gray, Green, Gray, Graphite Gray, Red, Orange, and Blue. All are molded in tough, abrasion-resistant composite for lasting protection.

The seven skid plate colors match those of Sledge’s other molded composite accessories.

Installing the skid plate is easy. Just remove the eight screws that match up with the skid plate, align the plate over the screw holes, and secure it using the longer screws supplied with the skid plate.

The chassis skid plate is the same thickness as the front and rear skid plates to help your Sledge scrub over whoops and power away from jump landings without snagging or catching on obstacles.
