  • 9) In 2011, the Senate unanimously passed a resolution in support of the day, and officials in all 50 states participate.
  • 8) According to the 2018 Small Business Saturday Consumer Insights Survey, total reported spending among U.S. consumers who said they shopped at independent retailers and restaurants on Small Business Saturday reached a record high of an estimated $17.8 billion.
