Jato Rear Bumper Installation.

Step 1

Locate the rear bumper in your “Hardware and Accessories” bag

 

Step 2

Remove the two 3x15 countersunk machine screws from the back of the chassis.

 

Step 3

Remove the battery cover and place the 4-cell battery holder out of the way.

 

Step 4

Remove the two 3x10 button head cap screws from the differential cover.

 

Step 5

Remove the battery box and differential cover.

 

Step 6

Remove the 3x15 button head cap screw from the inside of the differential cover.

 

Step 7

Remove the two 3x10 button head cap screws from the inside of the battery box.

 

Step 8

Remove the blue aluminum tie bar from the battery box and place it on the rear bumper. Set the battery box aside.

 

Step 9

Attach the bumper to the differential cover using the two 3x10 button head cap screws.

 

Step 10

Insert and tighten the 3x15 button head cap screw inside the diff cover.

 

Step 11

Re-attach the differential cover and bumper to the back of the differential using the two 3x10 button head cap screws.

 

 

Step 12

Remove the 4 cell battery holder.

 

Step 13

Re-insert and tighten the two 3x15 countersunk machine screws in the back holes of the chassis

 

You are now done with the bumper installation!
