1. EZ-Start battery not charged
    Use a freshly charged EZ-Start battery.
  2. EZ-Start motor wire loose
    Check the red and black motor connections on EZ-Start motor.
  3. Damaged EZ-Start wiring harness
    Replace the wiring harness using part #4579, or part #4583 (for Jato), or #4579X (for Revo).
  4. Engine flooded
    Clear the engine of excess fuel.
  5. Engine stuck at Top Dead Center (TDC)
    Release engine from TDC.
  6. EZ-Start motor worn out
    Replace EZ-Start motor (You can test the motor by momentarily touching a 9v battery to the red and black electric motor terminals).
  7. Damaged handheld starter unit
    Replace the handheld starter box.
