Upgrade Your Model with Front & Rear LED Lighting

The latest XL-5 powered Bandit®, Stampede®, Rustler®, BIGFOOT No. 1®, Slash, Slash 4X4, Stampede 4X4®, and Rustler 4X4® models now feature bright LED lighting integrated into their bumpers for exciting RC fun after dark. We know what you’re thinking: “I want those LED bumpers for my model!” Traxxas is way ahead of you. The new LED bumper sets are available now as complete upgrade kits, so there’s no need to scour exploded views for part numbers. Each lighted bumper set includes front and rear LED-equipped bumpers, power harness, instructions, and additional hardware if required. All you need to supply is your model and 15-30 minutes of bench time, depending on how fast you like to wrench. Let’s take a closer look.
LED Bumper Light Sets
The LEDs look terrific and glow brightly so you can easily see your model and the path ahead. And since the lights are in the bumpers instead of the body, there are wires or plugs to manage when removing and reinstalling the body.

LED Bumper Light Sets
There are seven LED bumper sets in all—just choose the set that matches your model.
Slash LED Bumper setEach bumper set includes front and rear bumpers with installed and wired LEDs, power wire harness, extra hardware if required, and detailed instructions. This is the Slash 2WD set.
Replacement LED Bumpers
Bumpers take a beating, so Traxxas made sure you can swap the LEDs into a new bumper when it’s time for a replacement. Depending on your bumper set, the LEDs can be removed as an enclosed unit (right) or as a board.
Wiring diagram
Hookup is easy—just plug the power wire harness into the receiver, install the LED bumpers, and plug them in. The LEDs switch on when you power up your model, and off when you power down.
