The complete light set features 28 extra-bright white LEDs to illuminate the way ahead, and 16 red LEDs for long-distance visibility from the rear. Instantly boost your Rustler 4X4’s steering performance and precision when you upgrade to the powerful High-Torque 330 servo. With 330 ounce-inches of torque on tap, the High-Torque servo delivers 164% more tire-turning power. All that extra twist is transmitted through a full set of metal gears, and an aluminum mid-case helps shed heat as it adds blue-anodized style. You’ll experience improved durability and responsiveness, especially if you’ve outfitted your truck with larger-diameter Sledgehammer tires or you’re slinging sand and snow with paddle tires.
If the Rustler 4X4 is your choice for sky-high skatepark stunts and going big with street jumps (or you’re just an extra-hard thrasher), the Heavy Duty Chassis Brace is a smart and stylish upgrade. Extruded aluminum construction minimizes weight as it maximizes strength, and the sleek mounting system integrates the brace for an integrated, factory look. Fast and easy installation requires no disassembly, and the brace also includes mounts for use with Slash 4X4 models. Choose from four brightly anodized colors: blue, orange, green, and red.
Here’s an inexpensive, easy-to-install upgrade that will extend the life of your Rustler 4X4’s body while giving it an extra shot of style. The Body Reinforcement Set installs on the outside of the body to spread impact forces and increase durability when your Rustler 4X4 takes a tumble. You’ll only need five minutes to install the reinforcements using the supplied longer screws, and at just five bucks, the Body Reinforcement Set is a super-affordable. It pays for itself!
Competition-grade GTR shocks are loaded with race-spec features for lasting suspension performance on and off the track. The machined aluminum bodies are threaded for precise preload and ride-height adjustments. Slick PTFE coats the bores for nearly frictionless piston action. X-ring seals glide on titanium-nitride coated shafts to fight stiction and provide instant suspension response. Whether you’re racing for the win or thrashing your Rustler 4X4 with your buddies, there’s no chance you’ll lose a lower spring retainer—they’re secured by screws. Springs are sold separately so you can dial in your setup, and you can get GTR shocks anodized in blue or green, as well as a hard-anodized finish.
The Rustler 4X4 VXL’s high-output brushless power system gives driveshafts a workout, especially in high-traction conditions. Traxxas constant-velocity shafts are precision-manufactured from high-strength steel to ensure maximum efficiency, total torque transfer, and unbeatable strength. The splined, telescoping shafts eliminate the friction of pin-and-drive-cup designs while allowing full suspension travel. Their extreme-duty construction makes these shafts monster-truck tough for use with Stampede 4X4 and Hoss 4X4 models as well as the Slash 4X4. Steel CV shafts are sold in pairs: 9051X front, 9052X rear.

When off-road adventure is all about full-throttle fun in gnarly, nasty terrain, Sledgehammers are the big hitters you need. These massive meats feature a larger diameter to raise ground clearance and plant your truck with a fatter footprint. The big-lug moto-inspired tread design digs and grabs on hard and soft dirt, roots, rocks, grass, and anything else that gets in the way.
The #3340 cooling fan installs in seconds to help your Rustler 4X4 VXL’s Velineon speed control keep its cool when power-hungry conditions and all-day adventure give the power system a heat-building workout. Just snap the fan onto the VXL-3s speed control’s heatsink, plug it into the power tap, and your speed control will get a non-stop blast of cooling air as long as your model is powered on.
